Ok, this post is gonna be a little hot for some and I do not mean it to be...but this IS my blog and I have a problem I wanna vent...but first...a pic of Allan's brothers kids and ours...isn't it cute????

On a spiritual note...several Scriptures have been running through my head as of late.  Joshua 1:8 and also the one about give me a heart of flesh.  Take out this stony heart, Lord...and make me pliable.  Does anyone else out there ever feel like there is so much more they need to work on.  I feel like I do not know where to even start sometimes. 

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Ok...**stepping onto my soapbox**  What IS it when us citizens cannot get a break and live in poverty level and cannot qualify for ANY help but hispanics can come into our country and not even have a green card half the time and get ALL the benefits???????  I am so over this!  Do you know, that a family of 5 who makes 21,000 a year cannot get food stamps or qualify for any goverment aid as they make too much money but you can be mexican and get a job and get housing and health care and food and then take it back into their own country? 

Let me make it known that I am NOT predjudice.  Not at all but I find this so unfair!  It just gets my goat.  Not only that, we have to learn spanish just to be able to deal with anything or anyone around here...do *I* go to Mexico (or ANY country for that matter) and demand they learn english or demand a job and housing or I will sue them?  NO!  I do not!  Do I demand they hire me and let their own go without?  NO!  I am a GUEST in their country!  Edinburgh is becoming known as Little Mexico.  No kidding.  And as I said, I am NOT against hispanics.  PLEASE do NOT put this in my mouth.  I am against ANYONE who steals from our own country.  We pay taxes and get no help but we help them...they do not help us.  And I don't care if you are brown, yellow, black, white, green or purple, it is all the same!  It is not fair.  We pay taxes but get no help. 

I have no problem with anyone coming to America to better themselves and become a citizen...none at all...contribute to the whole...you know?

Then...THEN...an american gets a new lexmark printer...the top of the line all in one and has to call tech support over and over and keeps getting put on hold and told they will get a call back, ect ect...not only can we not understand them...for they are from INDIA no less, they call back at 11:55PM...yes...PM to help you with your printer for they now have the answer to the problem...which they don't and not only that, you are in bed and sound alseep but THEY will not know that because they are up at the crack of dawn in their country!!!!!!!  All for a measly $2bucks an hour!  But OH!  Our country will hire outside to save money.  Oh yes they will.  Not only that, my hubby FINALLY called a friend who fixed it in 15 minutes...a simple llittle problem...but it took over a month of almost nightly phone calls to get this fixed and they never fixed the stupid thing!  His friend did!!!!!!!!!!  Urgh!

Do you know that 3 different factories have laid off american workers here in my town and hired hispanics for they get a tax break?  If Allan hires a hispanic he gets an $8,000 tax break.  Did you know that????????  And he would but too many of our own american brothers need work since everyone else is taking their jobs.  I KNOW these people...it is NOT just hearsay!  It is so unfair.  No wonder our economy stinks. 

Sorry, but I have been stewing for so long I had to let it out.  Hurumpft!  Btw, if ONE person says I am a bigot or whatnot I will flat out scream and come haunt your dreams.  **snort**

Random thoughts...

• Supper smells good...a crock pot recipie with sliced ham, potatoes, celery soup, paprika and cheese...
• I got two new pairs of shoes for $20 at Ninewest! 
• What am I going to do about Shekinah?
• My nose has a scab in it and it looks like I am picking it all the time and it makes me sneeze continuously.
• My dumb dog ate all my homemade chocolate chip cookies and I had to make more and I want one...
• Have you tried those hershey mint chocolate sticks?  MAN!!!
